Для удаления над- и поддесневых зубных отложений широко используются воздушно-абразивные способы. Механические свойства некоторых воздушно-абразивных средств для проведения профессиональной гигиены полости рта в отношении их воздействия на различные структуры зуба и имплантата недостаточно изучены. В связи с этим необходимы более подробные исследования по данным вопросам. Провести сравнительный анализ изменения ультраструктуры поверхности твердых тканей зуба при воздействии воздушно-абразивных средств на основе бикарбоната натрия, карбоната кальция, глицина трегалозы.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Изготовление вертикальных шлифов зубов толщиной 1-2 мм, удаленных по ортопедическим или ортодонтическим показаниям, обработка шлифов воздушно-абразивными смесями с соблюдением протокола использования данных средств от производителей и исследование полученных образцов методом сканирующей электронной микроскопии (СЭМ) по специальной методике.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Ответом на поставленную задачу стали данные сравнительного анализа повреждения поверхности эмали в результате обработки различными воздушно-абразивными системами и определение наименее травмирующего по отношению к поверхности эмали и имплантата способа проведения профессиональной гигиены полости рта.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Обработка эмали зубов воздушно-абразивным методом с применением порошка на основе трегалозы, глицина и карбоната кальция, с соблюдением рекомендуемых условий применения данных систем, не приводит к значительному изменению или повреждению ультраструктуры эмали или имплантата, в отличие от порошков на основе гидрокарбоната кальция. Следовательно, эти системы могут быть рекомендованы в ходе поддерживающей пародонтальной терапии для профилактики заболеваний пародонта и кариеса зубов в течение длительного периода времени. Однако применение порошка на основе карбоната кальция нежелательно в области дентальных имплантатов и ортодонтических конструкций типа брекет-систем, так как порошок остается на этих поверхностях в неизмененном виде и впоследствии может стать причиной обострения воспалительных процессов в мягких тканях.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. To remove above-gum deposits and under-gum deposits air-abrasive methods are widely used. However, the mechanical properties of air-abrasive products are not known to ensure professional hygiene in the feld of exposure various tooth structures. In this regard more detailed studies on these issues are therefore needed. The aim of the present study was to undertake an comparative analysis of changes in the ultrastructure of the surface of tooth hard tissues when they are processed by powders consisting of sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, glycine and trehalose.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The production of vertical teeth grinding, thickness 1-2 mm, removed by orthopedic or orthodontic indications; the processing of these sections by air-abrasive powders in compliance with the Protocol of use of these funds from the manufacturers during the professional hygiene and the study of the samples by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) by a special technique.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The answer to the task was the data of comparative analysis of damage to the enamel surface as a result of processing by various air-abrasive systems and the determination of the least traumatic method of conducting professional oral hygiene in relation to the enamel surface.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions. Processing of enamel by air-abrasive method using powder based on trehalose, glycine and calcium carbonate, observing the recommended conditions for the use of these systems, does not lead to a signifcant change in the enamel ultrastructure, damage or deformation, unlike powders based on calcium bicarbonate. Therefore these systems can be recommended during maintenance periodontal therapy for the prevention of periodontal diseases and dental caries for a long period of time.
