Выявление патоморфологических изменений со стороны челюстно-лицевой области у детей с дисплазией соединительной ткани (ДСТ) позволяет определять характер и степень выраженности нарушений, а также является основанием выбора оптимальных лечебных мероприятий с учетом патогенетических особенностей. Целью исследования является оптимизация диагностики заболеваний пародонта у детей с ДСТ по результатам изучения рентгеноморфометрических индексов нижней челюсти и ультразвуковой остеоденситометрии периферического скелета.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. У 92 детей с различной тяжестью ДСТ и 43 здоровых детей с помощью конусно-лучевых компьютерных томограмм проанализированы значения рентгеноморфометрических (количественных, качественных) индексов, показателей оптической плотности нижней челюсти. Также определено состояние костной ткани периферического скелета методом количественной ультразвуковой денситометрии.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Количественные рентгеноморфометрические индексы у здоровых детей и детей с ДСТ имеют сильные положительные корреляционные связи с Z-критерием остеоденситометрии, объективно отражая состояние костной ткани периферического скелета.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Прогрессирование степени тяжести ДСТ у детей коррелирует с интенсивностью деструкции костных структур челюстно-лицевой области, усилением процессов хронического продуктивного воспаления, сокращением плотности, фиброзно-волокнистым преобразованием костной ткани, уменьшением толщины кортикальных и разволокнением замыкающих пластинок нижней челюсти, преобладанием средне- и мелкопетлистого костного рисунка, нарушением пространственной ориентации и истончением костных трабекул, развитием патологических процессов в пародонте.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. Detection of maxillofacial pathomorphological changes in children with connective tissue dysplasia (CTD) allows identifying the nature and severity of disorders, as well as it serves the basis for selecting the best treatment options in view of the pathogenetic features. The purpose is to improve the diagnosis of periodontal diseases in children with CTD based on x-ray morphometric indices of the lower jaw and peripheral skeleton ultrasound osteodensitometry.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. 92 children with varying CTD severity, and 43 healthy children, underwent cone-beam computed tomogram examination with a further analysis of their X-ray morphometric (quantitative, qualitative) values and the lower jaw optical density indices. Besides, the status of the peripheral skeleton bone tissue was also determined through quantitative ultrasonic densitometry.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Quantitative X-ray morphometric indices in healthy children and children with CTD revealed strong positive correlation with the Z-criterion of osteodensitometry, offering an objective reflection of the bone tissue status in the peripheral skeleton.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
