The printed version is complemented by an electronic version of the Parodontologiya journal (www.parodont.ru) since 2000 year. The journal has become even more accessible to a wide range of dentists, as well as various categories of learners (students, clinical residents, graduate students and doctors receiving vocational retraining).
Since 2012, the Parodontologiya journal has been the official publication of the Russian Periodontal Association (RPA), an associate member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). The editorial board of the journal consists of leading periodontists from Russia and countries near and far (Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Germany, and Estonia).
In selecting manuscripts, close attention is paid not only to fundamental, but also to applied issues of periodontics and implant dentistry. We also focus on innovative technologies in dentistry which provide us with expedient solutions to the problems of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease in patients of various age groups with concomitant somatic pathology.
Publication of reviews of clinical reports, translations of clinical guidelines and EFP recommendations, materials from international and Russian dental forums and conferences, programs of professional training courses and other information from the Russian Periodontal Association (RPA) also serves the educational purposes and professional training of clinicians.
