Abstract
Purpose of the study set efficiency of probiotic preparations with live not freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria strains in the treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis mild to moderate severity. In the main group (50 patients of 20-65 years old) by the washing of the parodontal pockets by the probiotic. To the remained 50 patients (control group) standard washing of the oral cavity with the parodontal pockets irrigation by only 0.05 % chlorine hexidine solution was done. Microbial preparations, with strains of the normal oral microflora, used in the treatment regimens of chronic generalized periodontitis, have allowed increase the antiinflammatory effect of treatment in the early and late periods of observation.

Abstract
We carried out a clinical examination of 62 patients with pain symptoms arising after dental manipulations. They were identified 3 clinical groups in which the inferior alveolar nerve neuropathy emerged from various traumatic factors. Positive dynamics of the status of the patients was expressed in the improvement of hygienic indexes, reduction of pain intensity, normalize the level of anxiety. The results led to the conclusion that the presence of periodontal disease exacerbates the pain symptoms.

Abstract
Defects in dentition is often combined with other dental diseases, including inflammatory periodontal diseases. This article presents a study of local immunity of the oral cavity of patients with fixed prosthetic aesthetic designs and inflammatory periodontal diseases. The analysis of the facts, it can be argued that in these patients there is an imbalance of humoral immunity in the mouth. Determination of the activity of local immunity can use them as potential criteria for the differential diagnosis and immunocorrection of local immunity in the course of complex therapy.

Abstract
Endodontic and periodontal pathology are often combined in clinical practice and accompanied by occlusal trauma. One of the best examples of pulp-periodontal disease, where the integration of knowledge is necessary for the problem approach, and where the tooth which should be extracted is saved by the doctor because of the following psychological discomfort and dentoalveolar changes, is described in our article. Non-aggressive started orthodontic treatment with using of a series of thermoformable aligners in combination with a therapeutic periodontal and conservative treatment made us to have satisfactory results, to maintain the integrity of the dentition an of the patient's psychological comfort.

Abstract
Children in primary school age (6 - 11 years) are often observed localized gingival recession in the front group of teeth, with bare roots to 3 - 5 mm. Small oral vestibule is defined as a major factor in the formation of the recession. At the same time such a young age is not a contraindication for vestibuloplasty, the contrary efforts of parents, dentists and surgeons - dentists should be directed to the elimination of gingival recession, which will continue to avoid the loss of permanent teeth.

Abstract
The prevalence of periodontal diseases among 35-44 year-old residents of the Republic of Belarus is 94.8% in the period of 2006-2016 years. This fact dictates the need for developing the special organization of therapeutic and preventive measures, including maintenance therapy of periodontal diseases. Long-term clinical experience has enabled us to develop the concept of maintenance therapy in patients with periodontal diseases. The article presents its principles: monitoring of the periodontal diseases clinical course, relationship of oral and general health with the periodontium state, integration of medical and periodontal aid, systematic approach in the maintenance therapy, effectiveness of the maintenance therapy. The article detailed the organization of maintenance therapy: specific features of forming the groups of patients, writing the medical records and performing the duties of the medical personnel. Long-term use of the above-mentioned concept of maintenance therapy during complex treatment of patients with periodontal diseases has made it possible to obtain 97% of good results.

Abstract
It was conducted chemiluminescent (CL) study of oral fluid 48 somatically healthy individuals (20 men and 28 women) aged 18 to 24 years and 74 patients (40 men and 34 women) of the same age with chronic gingivitis (CG). The study was performed in HL model systems and oral fluid in vitro and in vivo, radiation light sum evaluated indicators - S and its maximum value - I max during the study. In an experiment to study the effect of toothpastes Parodontax and Sensodyne fluoride CPO processes for model systems. In 33 patients studied showed an increase (S - 36,3 ± 5,4 standard units, I max -15,8 ± 2,1 standard units...), 41 - there was a decrease of intensity of chemiluminescence oral fluid (2,1 ± 0,4 standard units, I max - 0,9 ± 0,06 standard units)... In studying the effect of toothpastes on the processes of free radical oxidation in model systems revealed that the toothpaste Sensodyne fluoride significantly inhibited HL model system, generating ROS. Parodontax - stimulated ROS formation, but at the same time suppresses lipid peroxidation reaction. Similar changes CL showed toothpastes studied when added in vitro to the oral fluid of patients with chronic hepatitis. Our research has shown that using a properly selected toothpastes can correct the status of free radical oxidation in oral fluid.

Abstract
The problem of treatment of inflammatory-destructive diseases of the oral cavity and currently remains relevant. An important task of topical drug formulations is to provide an effective concentration in the inflammation and maintaining this concentration for a long period of time. This study describes a method for the treatment of patients with erosive-ulcerous form of lichen planus with the inclusion in the standard therapy aquacomplex titanium glitserosolvata (TIZOL) with L-arginine. Clinical research has shown that the application of the above preparation regeneration of the oral mucosa was observed to top 2 weeks. Inclusion in the scheme of treatment TIZOL with L-arginine in the treatment of inflammatory-destructive diseases of the oral mucosa to accelerate epithelialization and tissue repair, stabilize the inflammatory process.

Abstract
Сellular pathogenetic mechanisms in the of target organs destruction in the patients with arterial hypertension (AH) play an important role. AH is accompanied by a deep, metabolic and functional disorders in the tissues of the body, including tissues of tooth-jaw system. Apoptosis is an integral component of the pathological process. The study of the currently applied metabolic drugs effects on cells apoptosis opens up new opportunities in the treatment of different diseases. Drugs including L-carnitine are perspective for patients with AH associated with inflammatory parodont disease (IPD). High antioxidant activity of levocarnitinum is confirmed in the conducted research and nonspecific antiapoptotic action in the conditions of pathological activity of apoptosis is established, besides the levocarnitin,s normalizing microcirculation action is noted.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to establish the relationships between changes in the periodontium and thyroid autoimmune inflammation in the experimental model of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Autoimmune thyroiditis was modeled on 12 white mongrel female rats by subcutaneous injection at the tail base bovine thyroglobulin (Calbiochem) with complete Freund's adjuvant at the rate of 1:1. For pronounced autoimmune response has been used 100 mcg dosage of thyroglobulin. Injections were performed at day 1 and 7, slaughter animals and sampling of the material produced at 21 days. The analysis micropreparations control and experimental groups of animals shows a decrease in the functional activity of the thyroid gland in the experimental group. In the analysis of histological preparations periodontal tissues in the experimental group found both degenerative and inflammatory changes. Considering the results of morphological studies and immunogistohimical can be argued that the autoimmune process is generalized to defeat, including periodontal tissues, which requires not only adequate therapy of autoimmune thyroiditis, but also to develop gingivitis with the characteristics of autoimmune periodontitis.

Abstract
Studied bioelectric activity of temporal, masticatory, sternocleidomastoid and digastric muscles in patients with dentoalveolar anomalies under the orthodontic treatment with braces. for 27 patients with dentoalveolar anomalies It has been established that the highest values of bioelectric activity of muscles quiescence are noted in patients before and during orthodontic treatment. At all stages of treatment was celebrated the highest imbalances in load tests at the masticatory muscles and the least pronounced - at the temporal muscles. According to the results of the study to prevent complications recommended monitoring functional status of the chewing muscles at the stages of orthodontic treatment.

Abstract
To assess clinical efficacy of an injectable form of platelet autologous plasma in complex treatment and prophylaxis of gingivitis in patients undergoing orthodontic treatment with fixed appliances had been observed during 6 months of orthodontic 58 patients on supportive periodontal treatment. The study showed that in a group where the purpose of prevention of complications of periodontal tissues was performed injections of platelet autologous plasma, the hygiene index was lower on 36,11%, (p<0.01); the level of bleeding on 28,65% (p<0.01); the prevalence of the inflammatory process in periodontal tissues on 24,97% lower than in the control group (p<0.01), which was the confirmation of the positive effect of performed procedures in patients of the main group and allows us to recommend the method for use in a complex of supportive periodontal therapy in this group of patients.

Abstract
In this article we present the results of a retrospective clinical reseach of patients with periodontitis to identify a possible link between periodontal disease and occlusal disorders. The aim of our reseach was to compare the depth of periodontal pockets of patients which occlusive disorders were corrected in the course of treatment and patients which we didn’t correct of occlusal disorders. A larger increase in pocket depth was observed in teeth with occlusal disorders compared with those who did not have them. Eliminating occlusive disorders by grinding or use of occlusial devices during periodontal therapy produces significant changes in the progression of the disease and improve treatment outcomes.
