Professor Orekhova is a doctor of a superior category, operating periodontist, has prepared a lot of doctors for the practical healthcare of St. Petersburg and Russia. She is the one of the few specialists who can actively use the skill of laser technologies in dentistry for more than 10 years.

Under the scientific guidance of L. Orekhova defended 2 doctoral and 28 PhD theses.
